Since I was a young boy, I have been fascinated by the art of story. While I never really felt like I saw myself on screen, I still latched onto characters that occupied them.
As the first-generation son of Vietnamese and Mexican parents, my own cultural identity confused me for many years. While I’ve grown, the confusion still lingers but my interest in cultural cross-over has been instilled in my identity as a storyteller.
My work aims to combine the idea of cultural crossover and an interconnected world with the humanity that exists in characters I fell in love with.
